Prints and decals and buttons, oh my! Redbubble Facebook
Continuing upon my journey to decal mastery--this weekend, hedgehogs! Lots and lots of hedgehogs everywhere!
Some things I'm learning--I can already tell that most of the cost of these decals is not going to be in the materials, but in the handwork needed to finish each one. I'm spending a fair amount of time 'weeding' (taking out all the unneeded background bits), cutting, and applying adhesive paper to the front so that they're ready for application. It might not take hours and hours, but it does require a certain amount of concentration--and the smaller the design, the trickier it can get. -__-;; Still, behold the results of my work! (The big one is harder to see, I know--white vinyl on white backing paper is hard to photograph! The little one is a finished decal applied to some green paper I had floating around.)
Upon the advice of my fellow artists, I think I'm going to offer two sizes: small, which is sized to fit on the back of your average Iphone/smartphone, and medium: about 5-6" across. Larges will be 12" across, but I'm thinking I might just do custom orders on those until I can see whether people want ones that big or not. And of course, now I have the perennial question--just how the heck to display them? :/
As always: please DO NOT take or use without permission. If you would like a character commission or custom tattoo design of your own, leave a comment or you can e-mail me through my website at www.rhpotter.com
